Triple Chocolate, Almond Butter and Banana Smoothie
Sometimes only the most intense choclate will tame that wild craving. Enjoy Sage's healthy version of a chocolate milk shake.
Serves 2
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup almond milk
- 3 tbsp almond butter
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt or kefir
- 1/4 cup coconut milk- from the can
- 2 frozen banana's
- 2 heaping teaspoons cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa nibs
- 2 tbsp dark (80% or higher) chocolate chips
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 scoop protein powder (optional)
- 4 ice cubes
DIRECTIONS
- Add all liquid to blender, then add almond butter, yogurt, bananas, seeds, nibs, chocolate chips and powders. Blend for 1 minute. Add ice cubes and blend for another 1-2 minutes until thick and creamy. Enjoy!
