Nutta Mach...Green Matcha Smoothie
This Gem came from a pantry clean out and our love of arugula and matcha tea. It is so nutrient dense, but you won't notice that as you enjoy the crisp fresh taste with a hint of nut!
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 green apple sliced
- 1 handful of baby spinach
- 1/2 handful of arugula
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 banana
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 1 tbsp cocoa nibs
- 2 slices frozen peaches
- 1 1/2 tbsp matcha powder
- 3 ice cubes
- 1/2 cup coconut water (you can use just water)
- 1 cup water
DIRECTIONS
- Add the liquids, then the greens and fruit, followed by all the seeds and nibs, matcha powder and maple syrup. Blend on high for about 2 minutes. Enjoy!
